As I mentioned looking at the other photo of this little gem, I think the VDF would have been thrilled to have these back in the fifties, as they were streets ahead of anything they had to work with back then! Such a pity innovative designs like these Dennis appliances were never sold in significant numbers overseas back then. I firmly believe the firm could have become what now has to be handed to Rosenbauer as the leading global fire truck manufacturer.
