Interesting to see a FPTSR “opened up” like this, illustrating a very typical layout which is pretty much common with this specification rescue pump water tender in France. Out of sight are the two one man hose carts, each of which carries ten 20 metre lengths of 70mm hose. Although - as shown here - additional hoses are carried in the lockers, using the hose carts does increase the amount of room for other equipment inside the body, which matters if you are going to carry a decent load of rescue equipment too…
