Yes exactly the Liebherr model was the last one, now BSPP like almost all other French FD have agreements with private local crane companies.

To be precise last BSPP crane was decommissioned in 2006.

In Austria and Belgium for example the heavy rescues are equipped with a medium crane mounted at the rear (like a Palfinger)

While in Germany there are tons of heavy cranes in use with fire services, ranging from around 40 to 90 tons capacity, with some big cities like Berlin actually having three of them!
