Great photo, nicely demonstrating just how useful a 32 metre platform can be at a roof fire in a rather typical central Parisian six story building with a character mansard roof too. As I understand it, BSPP has only a handful of these HPs, and mainly relies on a large fleet of around 60 30 metre ladders to provide coverage for these types of structures. London has also moved on from HPs to articulated TLs with cages, which seems to be the preferred approach in most German, Spanish, Italian, Dutch, Belgian and Polish fire services too.
