The pneumatic tires, new style headlights and centrifugal mid mounted pump suggest this was probably a late twenties example, as most of Seagrave’s earlier builds retained their piston pumps - some of which were very high capacity indeed. The hose basket behind the seats also reveals that this had a first aid booster pump rather than a chemical soda acid tank system, which was also an innovation dating from the mid twenties.
