Iveco Magirus TLThe "Hawk" model fire engine is a fire engine equipped with a ladder that rises to a height of about 41 meters, which allows firefighting, rescue and rescue operations to be carried out at different heights. This vehicle is based on an IVECO EUROCARGO chassis with 4x2 drive, and a cabin for two people - driver + passenger.
The fire engine includes a hydraulic ladder on a rotating platform with a rescue basket at the end that allows carrying a weight of up to 400 kg. Due to the size of the ladder, 4 stabilizing legs are installed in the vehicle, which open when necessary and create a stable base for operating the ladder. The ladder is operated from an operator's position located next to the ladder. The vehicle is equipped with 6 side compartments (2 main ones adjacent to the cab and 4 adjacent to the rear wheelhouse) used to store the equipment. The vehicle does not have an extinguishing system based on a pump. There is a "dry" piping that allows connection to an external pressurized water source such as an additional fire engine or a hydrant, and to supply water under pressure to the end of the ladder and the rescue basket. A water cannon is installed in the rescue basket and in addition the firefighter can use different devices for rescue operations, as required
