Battery electric ambulances may well make sense in large cities like metropolitan Paris, where runs are relatively short. I seem to remember the BSPP ambulances average around eight to ten runs every 24 hours which - if correct - suggests they can be on charge for around fourteen to sixteen hours a day.

Like in Berlin the Electric appliances are being tested in the city central FS. Combining, environment, noise and FS with busy operations.
