On the demise of the AFS, this was purchased by what was then Worcester City County, painted red, and put on the run both with them and their 1974 successors, Hereford & Worcester Fire Brigade

Nice to see another unwanted AFS unit which was put to good use by a fire brigade after the AFS was disbanded. It seems to have been in service for quite a long time, although in a brigade of this size I expect it probably did not make all that many runs. I wonder if the interior was updated as new technologies emerged?
