15 ton chassis with plenty of power, With a 320 BHP engine. As in the case of most small town volunteer fire companies in Germany, this unit is 4X4. Even large city fire services in Germany seem to prefer 4X4 chassis, to cope with snow covered roads as well as the occasional possible need to go off road.
