Wisbech and then Thorney. Dates from 1938. Body by Wicks Coahbuilders. Later converted to a water tender.

Unusual bodywork, with no access to hoses or equipment except from the rear or the crew compartment. The swooping "streamlined" bodywork contrasts rather strongly with the square Leyland snout, and is perhaps not as practical as some other limousine designs from the same period. I expect the sliding doors were fitted to make deployment of the first aid hose easier, as it was inside the crew cab, which was quite common on Leyland limousine pumpers at the time this was built.
