Unusual 4X4 Mack M series. These were once quite popular in the US as they were cheaper than the custom CF series, but shared the firm’s excellent reputation for quality and reliability, but the 4X4 chassis was a rarity in fire department fleets. FDNY still has a few M series in service, most notably as high rise tenders.
