It looks like the crew cab was only accessible from one side, but not entirely clear from this photo for the reason for this unusual feature. Does anyone know what the unpainted flap under the cab side window is for? It looks like a dog door, but that seems unlikely!

The unpainted flap is marked BA, as is the small locker next to it. The unpainted one was not there on earlier pictures. Looking at some other views, there does not seem to be any handles on either crew compartment "door" so maybe access was from the cab, a bit odd though.
