The third one was added fairly recently, and I think this may be one of the original pair. They are a relatively new idea in big city service in Germany, but have proven very useful at large industrial fires, including a major recycling center incident. The city also had two smaller 5000 liter tankers, but I think these may be a superseded by the bigger ones in the future.

As far as I know the 3 same GTLF were acquired in 2017 based in Botnang, Plieningen and Stammheim VFS.
