The Bedford in picture 42862 is not the same vehicle. (its an HCB Angus bodied one) The picture above is Carmichael bodied.

Ed: the other picture was simply the source for the information that 999PHY was written off in an RTA.

This design made full use of the standard Bedford factory cab. While less elegant than the HCB design, with its modified cowl and custom front doors, it was presumably also quite a bit less expensive?
