1939 appliance here I think at Lauriston Place museum. This closed a number of years ago when it became student housing. The new museum is about to open at McDonald Rd old fire station.See

I am in Edinburgh next week and was hoping to visit. This appliance was Musselburgh then south eastern.

The new Edinburgh fire museum is still not open to the public. Reason for delay is unclear. It has been about to open for some time.

On an FBS visit to Edinburgh and the Airport last Saturday 15th, I've heard it's meant to be opening in June.

“Back to its roots” at McDonald Road. Opinions may differ on this but lucky still to have a museum of sorts. Happy 200th Mr Braidwood.

Speaking of whom, I wonder when the last Braidwood was built? If the Dennis F2 qualifies, it must have been around 1952-ish.
If not, perhaps we are back to 1940, when a few pre-war orders were being finished off for brigades who still wanted them…

Hi Rob quite a few F1 in Braidwood body style went to the far east (basically an updated light four)
