Pretty original, with only three visible updates. Flashing indicators where the original semaphores were replaced. The addition of a blue acorn in the centre of the roof, where a plinth was not necessary. A steel escape, while the original would have almost certainly have been wood. This lighter ladder may have enabled the brigade to increase the water tank from 100 gallons as originally built to as much as 200, as there was space for the bigger tank. Among others, Middlesbrough had their F 12 modified like this, but of course there are no visible signs…
