It was owned by an Essex farmer for 15 years before being relegated to a barn from which it was rescued by the late Richard Payne of Great Sampford.
Sold. c2014 for £3800 hammer price, the buyer was Garry Sutton of Redgrave, Suffolk. Garry has a large private vehicle collection of cars & commercials, it joined his collection.
Then 2018 to Dave Harris. PBM was the 176th Miles fire engine built and the prototype 120" wheelbase water tender. The unarguable unique feature of Miles products is the triangular orange blinker lights. This picture has been re-fitted with different blinker lights.
