Interesting piece here - shows restoration. It was
one of the first appliances at the Aberfan disaster 1966

Presumably based at Merthyr?

Believe this was Aberdare(Glamorgan) appliance. Merthyr Tydfil was a small county borough brigade until 1974 changes.
