The crew cab is the successor to the famous “club of four” crew cab, shared by Volvo, Renault, Iveco and DAF, except that new cab is no longer used by Iveco or DAF. It is also widely used for municipal trucks as well as fire appliances, and in fact some BSPP fire trucks were built on a series of cancelled garbage truck chassis, with only minor modifications.
