This belongs to a very small volunteer fire company, and although I have not been able to confirm it’s role, I think the side access door and stairs indicate that it might actually be a command vehicle. It does nicely illustrate the rather limited rear seating in the factory crew cab, too….No wonder most light pumpers on this chassis have a coach built crew compartment. picture 43734 illustrates one recent example.
