TRO tenders included dry powder, but nowadays dry powder tends to be limited to trailers, except for industrial and airfield units. “TRO” is the abbreviation for “trocken”, which is German for dry.

Some AB pods in German fire services are delightfully described as “sonderloeschmittelabrollbehalter” (!) This single word translates as “rolling special fire extinguishing media container”, which can describe a variety of load combinations to include foam, purple K, CO2 and dry powder in various combinations and quantities.
