I really like the shiny wheel covers! Many South American fire departments still dress their fire trucks up with these. Not only do they look good, in the era before everything was slathered in reflective tape they added a safety feature by making their vehicles a bit more visible from the side, especially at night. They were an alternative to the old French idea of fitting (often “home made”) whitewalls for the same reason.
