Yah gotta have toys
A 1947 F3 Dennis from Wanganui now running after sitting quietly for 25 years is joined by a 1995 Sabre ex Warwickshire and a 1958 Dennis F24 originally from Wellington NZ . The F24 was designed on the same basis as the five Leeds F8s (RUM 966 etc) that is with a rear well and rear facing seating inside the cab.

Usual restoration story Barry, It belongs to the Transport museum and we blew the budget on the engine so it's a long wait until the next financial year. There's not too much chrome thankfully but it will be completed by the end of next year

The F3 appears to be chassis no 3204, reg no EQ 4649 under WPO 40041 How is the preservation going please?
Any other info about the F24.....I was not able to id it from the Dennis records

A few will already know that the Wanganui F3 has returned home.A Brigade project is underway to return her to her previous pristine condition. John Walker has been a great help in identifying parts and work done from her time at MOTAT
