Seems like a type of special rig which will become increasingly necessary as global warming brings about more and more serious flooding. Luxembourg is a very rich little principality due mainly to its banking businesses, and has a very large and amazingly well equipped fire service for a community with less than 600,000 citizens.

picture 39840 illustrates one of Luxembourg's newer ladder trucks and includes some details about their amazingly well staffed and equipped fire and rescue service. The other unit in this photo is a brush truck, with a dual hose reel system identical to the standard French set up - one semi-rigid 19mm or 23mm high pressure reel and another with flat unlined 32mm low pressure hose.

Rob you are right about the budgets in Luxembourg-Luxembourg. The sandbags producer pictured above is from Belgium (region Luxembourg is a province of Belgium) it's confusing I know
