Blaze erupts in Wetherill Park

Residents in western Sydney are being urged to stay inside as plumes of toxic smoke fill the air following a fiery smash between two semi-trailers. The B-double trucks collided on Victoria Street in Wetherill Park about 6.30am on Thursday sparking a huge fire.
Fire and Rescue NSW (FRNSW) feared the trucks were transporting chemicals and urged local residents to remain indoors and prevent the billowing smoke from seeping into homes.

Both drivers sustained minor injuries and were treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance
