This great bird’s eye photo shows the unique layout of the older “PS” first aid pumps which were found all over France in the 50s, 60s, and even into the early 70s in some places - as seen here. This example is a PSM with a class B foam branch and associated supply of compound and eductor. But many PS trucks came without the foam equipment. The truck looks pretty original, although the blue beacons are a later addition.

The specification included a 1000 LPM pump, a 600 litre water tank, 19 mm hose reel, single hose cart with 200 metres of 65 mm hose, seating for six crew members, but notably an absence of ladders.
