Any news about what is happening to the others from the same series? It seems quite a few other U.K. Brigades could find a role for extra aerials in good condition....

In their announcement about the recent delivery of fifteen ladders to London, including the three 62 meter giants, Magirus proudly point out that they have been supplying London with turntable ladders since 1905! Possibly the first ones? The other ladder suppliers included Metz, Merryweather and Camiva at different times, resulting quite often in a rather mixed fleet, as of course these rather expensive rigs were often kept on the roster for around twenty years. They were even quite often transferred from the original chassis to a new one, but I don’t think London actually did any remounting.
