Would someone tell us a bit more about this truck?

I can guess Rear-Mount Pump..... 4 sections Hard Suction Hose....Water Tank maybe.

But what is that white contraption, over the rear of the Ladder stowage, between the 2 access ladders ? A Light Tower for illuminating the scene ?

A high rig - the Roof Ladder on RH Side must have been a joy to get down, and put back up.

Hi Pat.Standard British water ladder owned by the Defence Fire service used as a domestic appliance on a Military establishment. Rear mounted pump in the rear locker behind the roller shutter. 4 x lengths of hard suction, the white contraption is a elevating light tower used to illuminate the scene of an incident. Usually carries 400 gallon of water, and yes the roof ladder was a joy to remove and put back. You had to climb up to the top of the appliance via the black gantry ladders at the rear, which could be hazardous at times. Hope this helps.

This is 42kk71 stationed at defence fire station Marchwood. The white lighting unit is a Halogen night owl lighting unit. This appliance is a six gear manual and is no longer our front line appliance it is a division spair.It is a great pump to operate and to work with.

Hi Nath, Kineton have 2 but they're having problems. They have 1 on the run as their second away but thats got problems. When they plug it in the whole truck becomes live.

Hi Nath,
We have one at Marchwood Southampton. Not On the run as it has problems aswell. Chassis split and had to be repaired, Battery keeps going flat when left for a couple of days, tank filler hose decided to blow off when supplying from another pump, will find out how it performs when it is finally on the run ?
ps one is also on the run at Bicester.
