This was the short wheelbase edition of the 30 series, 3.3 metres instead of 3.9. The long wheelbase version usually had the hose reels in an open box behind the rear wheels. On this unit, the brigade has had them installed on the roof instead, to recapture the additional locker space at the rear...

Ed: long wheelbase was called the F36. Cheshire had those too, see
