Also in the Fire Station of Keflavik (Iceland) you can find this older Ford 500 Custom Cab. It was built in 1956 and is still running as a Fire Truck. It will appear when there is a big fire, but that is quite exceptional.

Those classic old Fords powered many a fire truck and were affordable ["pun" not intended!], too; for small Fire Departments in North America. Love the twin Booster Reels; and the 3 lengths of Hard Suction Hose indicating the truck works away from piped water supply.

This firetrucks was built in 1978, there is a 4. trucks like this in Iceland, still in full service.
