Each of Dresden’s five full time stations has one of these, along with a HLF10, a TTL and a command van. Together they form a platoon with 16 firefighters and are the standard first response detailed to attend reported structure fires.
Seven more HLF 20/20 are assigned to seven of the 21 volunteer stations, while two have HLF 10/10 -and the remaining 12 have not yet been equipped with a rescue pump. It is expected that - like Berlin - Dresden will gradually replace older pumps at the remaining volunteer stations with rescue pumps as they are rotated out.
