Fire Engines Photos

This rather colorful ambulance reflects the transition taking place in Germany, as fire service ambulances switch from traditional red to EU-approved yellow color schemes. For some reason, this does not seem to be happening in France, where both military and departmental fire service ambulances continue to be red - although sometimes with white or yellow roof, bumper and rear chevron treatment.

ED: so much for France complying with EU regulations!
