Does anybody know exactly what it is? Foam Carrier, Salvage Tender, BA Tender etc?

Dunno about the Bedford CF van in foreground but the Control Unit behind looks very much like an ex-AFS Bedford RL.

I found it. It is a Dorset Fire brigade canteen van. Slide was mis-labelled LFB.

I posted this photo on another site related to Dorset Fire Brigade and several site members have confirmed the photo was taken on 25th July 1976 at a large fire at the central bus garage in Bournemouth. The Bedford RL control unit which you can see the rear of was ex AFS then Dorset FB and was stationed at the Bournemouth Fire Station. Not sure what the Bedford.
