Berliet GBK18

Good catch!

An identical old Berliet 4X4 brush pump-tanker for rural use.

These Berliet GBK chassis was produced in large numbers for the French army, but were also very popular with the fire service for off road firefighting. A version with a full four door crew cab was also produced but the single can with the open wooden crew bench was less expensive - and therefore more popular!

"Can" can be read as "cab". A finger fumble again. No relation to the can-can, despite the Berliet's French origins!
