This is one of two GTLF 5 with a 5,000 litre tank and 3,000 LPM pump on the city roster. They were both delivered in 2011, along with two much larger 10,000 litre tankers on tandem axle Mercedes Actros chassis. These types are both primarily used to respond to areas with difficult hydrant access, such as at a recent recycling yard fire. These are the only four high capacity tankers in the city, as none of the volunteer fire companies operate any similar trucks.
