This series of rescue pumpers were bought in 2018 and are on 16 ton 4X4 chassis with 2000 LPM pumps.
Between 2016 and 2018 Dresden also purchased a large number of 1000 LPM rescue pumpers on MAN 12 ton chassis to update the extensive fleet of volunteer fire company units at the 21 volunteer fire stations in the city. These mainly replaced the older DIN standard LF8 light pumpers, and now insure that volunteer fire companies have a full rescue-equipped first turnout unit.
