Duxford fire engine rally mid 1980s. Bought by Llandudno Urban District Council, Caernarfonshire in 1940 and later stationed at Barmouth. Fire equipment by John Kerr and Co. of Manchester. Southport had an appliance very similar to this as an Emergency/Salvage Tender.
Wimborne and Cranborne R. D. Brigade had a very similar HrT appliance allocated to Cranborne (Dorset).
Kerr did the fire engineering on the Manchester airport (Ringway) Mercedes Unimog.

Wimborne and Cranborne RDC had two- APR839 and APR 840. The first served at Ferndown and came out of service about 1953 and the second at Cranborne came to Weymouth In 1953/4 and lasted as a GP vehicle until 1960. They were bought as towing vehicles and were soon converted to hose reel tenders.
