this appliance is operated by a different brigade to waterford city. the city is stand alone and controller by the city council and the county is controller by the county council and they operate about 8-9 stations all rural, the above appliance regurally comes into the city to provide standby cover they are only 7 miles outside the city.

What are the red lights used for? I take it Irish traffic law regarding the display of red lights to the front of a vehicle differs from British law?

as far as i know its just a waterford county thing all their appliances display them very good at night and on the rural roads... see ww.blues-twos.com for all irish appliances excellent site too
