Petros - is it possible this is the same engine as 42015 but signwritten different left to right side for publicity photos?
Just a guess...

Ed: ah maybe. That might explain why there is no trace on the Horwich post war fleetlist. Might never have been a Horwich appliance!

Henley on Thames acquired this appliance in December 1938, a separate appliance from the Horwich one.
