Em. What a large WrC i have ever seen. I sure that the water carried by this WrC is enough to put out any fire.

Three axle tankers are very common in the US outside of large cities, to support pumpers operating at both vegetation fires and at stucture fires in areas without hydrants.

The folding collapsable dam has been used for many years in the US to facilitate tanker shuttles - and is frequently used, with each tanker usually carrying a dam.

Most often, the first to arrive sets up and fills its dam, then goes off to a water source. Subsequent tankers take turns to refill it, setting up one or more additional dams if the scale of the incident requires it. There are several videos on Youtube showing these classical tanker relays in operation.

The 6X4 tankers typically carry between 11, 000 and 12, 750 liters on board, and have a +/- 3650 LPM pump for direct supply through hoses in situations where this is preferred. A large three-way dump valve permits emptying the tank by gravity into the dam, regardless of whether it is positioned to the rear or either side of the vehicle.

The volume of water which can be delivered depends on many different factors, but the rule of thumb in many departments is that a typical three tanker relay can furnish an uninterrupted regular supply to feed three heavy handlines - or a total of around 2700 LPM.

I have never heard of four axle tankers in the US, except for airport crash tenders. But there are a few in Europe. Marseille's BMPM operate 8X4 tankers with 13, 000 tanks and there are a few in the Netherlands too, but no-one operates the collapsable dam system as far as I know.
