Gloster Saro Gauntlet ACT demonstrator
Reynolds Boughton Taurus chassis presumably? I have not heard of the Gauntlet before just Javelin, Meteor etc. I found this quote on Google Books from Jane's...... "The Gauntlet entered production in 1981 Manufacturer Gloster Saro Ltd, " I wonder if the Gauntlet name was dropped. I can find no other images of the Gauntlet. Not in flightglobalarchive.

I have a Gauntlet brochure, it seems to be identical
to the Javelin.
I don't know if there was any difference at all.

'fits like a glove'. Like it Rob :) Perhaps they were sold hand in hand with the Javelin !

I have looked at a couple of brochures, the various dimensions are slightly different, but nothing too great. One Gauntlet brochure has a Luton Javelin on the cover just to confuse things. The Javelin top speed was 4 KPH slower than the Gauntlet but the acceleration was the same!! There was also a proposed Gladiator as well.
