Farnborough - Chubb on Boughton 'Aquarius' 6x6 chassis,rear mounted 360 hp GM 8V-71 engine and Allison auto box. 1500 galls water and 200 galls foam liquid.See picture 21315.
The appliance in the photo is the smallest of three variants of ARFF truck built by Chubb, this being the Protector, offered as both a 4x4 or 6x6 vehicle. The range was complimented by the Patroller, a 4x4 vehicle that sat between the Pathfinder and Protector. See picture 20882.
