This appears to be the drill yard at Worthing outside the 3 ex NFS appliance bays in the rear drill yard, no doubt when attached to the training department based at Worthing. Having spent its life at Chichester it was with the training department from 1983.

Jon, MPX 589J last shout at Chichester was 23/1/1982, 12.43pm, High Street, Selsey, Make Pumps 3. It went off the run mechanical defect, replaced by WPO 13K Dennis"D"Reserve, that lasted a day, attended one shout, replaced by GBP 998N till6/2/1982, off the run, replaced by WPO 13K again, till 24/2/1982, when MPO 54J arrived after much work at Workshops, from its Non-Op Role, back in Front Line Service. MPX 589J was repainted red in 1976 but had been well looked after externally.
