No badge but probably a D1617, as this maximum (back then) 16 ton gross weight chassis was used by a few body builders for foam tenders because of its high payload capacity. GMC operated some D1617 pumpers, before SVO managed to shoehorn the fat Perkins 510 V8 engine into a 13 ton chassis which otherwise had a narrower Ford in line six cylinder engine. This resulted in the very popular 1317 chassis, competing directly with Dennis, Dodge, ERF and Shelvoke - all of which offered the same engine. Brigades in the UK and overseas bought D series with the six cylinder engines too, including the five liter petrol, the five liter turbocharged diesel and the six liter diesel too, as well as some standard chassis versions for specials like BA tenders, control units and such like.

These foam tenders were also mainly standard truck chassis, rather than SVO versions, with added-on PTOs for those which incorporated a pump. A visual clue is the absence of a front mounted exhaust, which was often a feature of SVO fire appliance chassis builds.
