late 1970s I have no information on this fire appliance. Not sure if it a conversion from a military truck or an original. Could be airfield or industrial brigade.

The photo was taken at Ramsey fire station in Cambridgeshire. Sorry can't help with the history.

The marking on the front mudguard suggests a possible RAF origin, before getting its civilian license plates. It is a military Bedford 4X4.

Cut down ex military WW2 Bedford OY 3 ton cargo truck. Maybe fire tender from a private airfield with that short ladder behind cab.
