New Zealand Scania - PH8114

One of thirty-two appliances built as heavy pumps by Mills Tui on the Scania G93M chassis for the New Zealand Fire Service between 1988 & 1991 (another example was built as a heavy pump & was also fitted with a hydraulic boom). This 1990 example was new to Christchurch before moving to the relief fleet & then the training department. For a large part of 2012/13 it was transferred to Woodend to act as a pump rescue tender while their Iveco received major repairs. Now returned to training, it was photographed in July 2015 at work at a training exercise.
