42nd Infantry Division Monument

The monument erected by members of the Rainbow Division (42nd Infantry, US Army WWI) to commemorate their service in the Great War. 27,000 troops departed in Sept 1917. KIA =2950, WIA 13,392 (from inscription on the base of the monument.) As with all aspects of WWI, there is an enormous amount of info on the web,)
