Fire Engines Photos

Dear Dr. I did a search under 'myanmar fire services department images' and it brought up three more pics of this very same appliance. The crest on the door appears on another fire truck door titled 'Mandalay, Myanmar.' If you look at the picture you posted there is a sign on the building front above the driver's side windscreen that has the helmet and crossed axes that appears on the fire engine door. Perhaps this truck was originally attached to the Mandalay Fire Brigade. Interestingly, on the search I did, this Dennis appears in all its operational glory! It has a massive water tank on the back, yellow and clear lens lamps above the windscreen, a bell, search light, ladder gantry, hoses, etc, etc (I couldn't find a date). But there is another front view picture of her in 2013 also when operational. There is a further picture of her in April 2014 at the same location but not looking so good, with someone lying on a foam mattress up on top. It appears the picture you posted is of the appliance outside the fire station.
