East Sussex Preserved Dennis New World Pumps.
Receiving a comment on picture 7141 from Trevor Evans in reference to there still being 3 Dennis Light-Four/New World fire engines of the East Sussex Fire Brigade still in private hands,here's a photo of all 3 together at the Ardingly Show in Sussex from July 2013.
On the left from 1939 is BPM 212 and this served at Hurstpierpoint until the 1960's,next we have BPM 213 also from 1939 and this one served at Turners Hill and served until the late 1950's,and last on the right is BPN 698 which was new to Newhaven in 1939 and this one served until the mid 1960's and than was sold to film work.
A somewhat most unusual photograph simply because it was the first and only time I've ever caught all 3 together at a show for that rather special picture.
