Fire Engines Photos

This appliance 'surfaced from hibernation' a few months ago..having spent the best part of fifty years in a barn in Lincolnshire..new to Scunthorpe then transferred to Horncastle in the 1960's under Lindsey County Fire Brigade!

Rick, you seem to know a lot about Lincolnshire appliances, do you have any information on Leyland Cub FW 9545, new to Spilsby and now kept in Louth fire station?

I probably can't ell you anything you don't know already...FW 9545 is still on Lincolnshires fleet and is used for fundraising and ceremonial purposes !...what were you wanting to know ?

Hi Rick, i go out with this engine 'Betsy'for the Firefighters Charity. Next year is her eightieth birthday and we want to find out where in London she was stationed at during The Blitz, and when she returned to Lincolnshire?
